Regional Transport Strategy

SPT is preparing a new Regional Transport Strategy (RTS). The new RTS will set out frameworks and plans to improve transport networks and services and to influence travel behaviour in the west of Scotland.

Consultation on draft Case for Change report for the Regional Transport Strategy

Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT) has a statutory duty under the Transport (Scotland) Act 2005 to produce a Regional Transport Strategy (RTS) for the west of Scotland.

A new RTS is being developed, which will set out a strategy to improve transport networks and services and to influence travel behaviour in the west of Scotland.

SPT has prepared a draft Case for Change report to seek views and feedback from our partners and stakeholders on the key outputs of the strategy development process to date. The report is available at this link: RTS draft Case for Change

Accompanying background reports including statutory assessment interim reports are available to view by scrolling down this page to “Find out More.”

This consultation is now closed. Thank you to everyone who participated.
