8/8A, 9: Lanark - Lesmahagow/Glespin (2)
Ayr Road, Douglas will be closed between Station Road and Addison Drive from 9am Sunday 27th September to 7am Monday 28th September 2026 to facilitate Scottish Water manhole replacement works. Services 8A and 9 during the works will be unable to serve Glespin. All journeys will terminate at Douglas during the works. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Dryburgh Avenue, Rutherglen will be closed at it's junction with Stonelaw Road from 8am Thursday 24th September to 6pm Friday 9th October 2026 to facilitate junction improvement works. Service 14 journeys from Rutherglen will continue on Main Street and divert via McCallum Avenue, Calderwood Road and resume normal route onto Woodside Avenue. Journeys in the opposite direction will follow the same diversion in reverse. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

From 8am Monday September 21st to 6pm Sunday September 27th 2026, Glassford Road, Strathaven will be closed between Holeburn Bridge and 1.3km southwest to facilitate telecommunications apparatus maintenance. Service 13 journeys toward Strathaven will circle the roundabout on Jackson Street and divert via Station Road, A723, Hamilton Road and resume normal route. Glassford Road will not be served during this closure. Return journey will operate same diversion in reverse. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

A8011 Central Way (Northbound) will be closed nightly from 2000 Wednesday 16th September 2026 until 0600 Saturday 19th September 2026, between Slip Road 1 and Main Street, Cumbernauld Village. Service 403 to Croy Station will operate normal A8011 Central Way, Braehead Roundabout, A8011 Central Way, Lyes Brae, B8054, Forest Road, Castlecary Road, A8011, Roadside and resuming normal route. Please expect delays to the publicised timetable due to the diversion in place. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
