SPT has become an employer partner of CodeClan, Scotland’s first digital skills academy which aims to promote digital excellence and create opportunities for students, graduates, employer partners and the wider economy.

As an employer partner, it means SPT will now have access to skilled and highly motivated developers who have completed CodeClan’s rigorous training and are now ready to take on the challenges of a real-life work environment.

Supported by the Scottish Government, Scotland’s digital technologies trade body - ScotlandIS, and Skills Development Scotland, CodeClan is the first digital skills academy to be approved by the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA).

CodeClan is a dedicated resource designed to help to close Scotland’s digital skills gap, offering employers instant access to a steady flow of new programming talent.  Everyone signed up to the programme undergoes four months of immersive and challenging training before being considered job-ready.
