Cycling Scotland have provided a number of campus cycling officers at further and higher education sites across the SPT region, who are tasked with the responsibility of desgining, implementing, and evaluating a cycling project. This has the benefit of creating full time job roles, developing capacity across the sector, and improving cycling services at these campuses. Furthermore the project will expand into creating roles for inmates at Barlinnie, and provide them with bike mechanic qualifications to utilise when they are back in society.
