SPT Subway receives highly commended award for rail operator of the year at National Transport Awards 2018.

SPT senior director Charles Hoskins said:

“This is a fantastic achievement, particularly coming so soon on the back of our success at the Global Light Rail Awards.  Credit must go to every member of staff who consistently deliver such a great service.

“This really demonstrates that Subway can hold it’s hold against other UK rail oparators.  I’m delighted that Subway has attained this national recognistion, continuing to deliver services day after day while also continuing to work towards the complete modernisation of the entire system.”

The National Transport Awards celebrates the successes that have been achieved on national and local transport projects. All the projects must demonstrate the tangible results they've achieved, particularly where they’ve improving the experience for transport users and ultimately added to the successful development of the nation’s transport infrastructure.
