Santa visits various Subway stations to surprise passengers.

With less than 2 weeks until the big day, Santa paid a visit to various Glasgow Subway stations to spread the Christmas cheer and surprise our passengers with Subway gifts!

Travelling from St Enoch along to Hillhead and back, he joined passengers on the platforms and trains, surprising them with gifts and even some Christmas sing-along! Passengers were pleased to get a chance to speak to Santa himself and add some festive cheer to their journeys.

Glendale Primary School Choir were also at St Enoch Station singing Christmas carols to bring some festive joy for Glasgow's Christmas shoppers and Subway users. The children were dressed in festive attire, and filled the station with the sound of Christmas classics adding a touch of festive joy to passenger journeys, all while raising money for Pollokshields Mutual Aid and Community Food Point. Santa paid them a special visit, joining in with their singing and handing out gifts, making it a memorable experience.

Their teachers Ms Rasool and Mr Gilbert said 'There were no tears or pouts when the Glendale Choir met Santa when he came to town at St Enoch station.

The children had a great time and were very excited to perform and meet Santa. We are very proud of their hard work. We definitely felt the Christmas spirit and the money raised will help families in our community.'
