Joseph’s win with ZoneCard

Written by SPT 02/11/2018

The latest winner of a year’s free travel thanks to SPT’s ZoneCard survey prize draw is Joseph Quay.

Joseph commutes daily from his home to Paisley Town Centre to get the train to his work in Ayr.  He explained:

“When I completed the survey I knew there was a £7.50 discount voucher off my next purchase but I didn’t realise that I was automatically entered into the draw for the prize of an annual ticket, and I was absolutely delighted to win.

“The savings this prize affords me will make a very welcome difference to me financially in the coming year as the travelling costs incurred getting to and from work, shopping, and places of leisure are a considerable percentage of my monthly wage.

“I want to thank SPT for their generous prize and would tell other passengers to complete the survey, if I can win with my luck in the past, anyone can!”

Twice a year, in Spring and Autumn, SPT offers ZoneCard holders the chance to complete a week-long travel diary detailing all the journeys they make with their ZoneCard. The competition is open to all travellers purchasing or renewing a ZoneCard during the survey week, with SPT selecting a winner at random from all completed diaries.

Everyone who completes the survey gets a £7.50 voucher which can be redeemed against their next ZoneCard purchase.

Joseph was presented with his prize by ScotRail fares manager Ross Currie.

The ZoneCard is an operator owned, SPT administered, multi-modal ticket offering unlimited travel throughout Strathclyde by bus, rail, Subway and ferry from just £19.70. An estimated 10 million trips are made using the card each year. The ZoneCard survey prize draw runs twice-a-year and is a fantastic opportunity to win a year’s free travel just by filling in a week-long diary. Keep a look out for details.
