222: Baillieston - Bargeddie - Coatbridge - Monklands Hospital
On Sunday 14th December 2025 the B753 Dundyvan Road, Coatbridge will be closed to facilitate carriageway resurfacing. Service 222, from Monklands Hospital will operate normal route to Bank Street, circling the roundabout at the top of Dundyvan Road then back via Bank Street, South Circular Road, Coatbank Street then picking up normal route from Whifflet Street. Return journey will operate same diversion in reverse. Please note Dundyvan Road will not be served on this journey. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Lye Brae, Greenyards Slip Road 1 will be closed from Wednesday 10th December 2025 until Friday 12th December 2025 to facilitate carriageway resurfacing.. Service 346 to Cumbernauld Train station will operate normal route to Forest Road, diverting on to Lenziemill Road, Janes Brae, Greenfaulds Road, South Carbrain Road, Cumbernauld Train Station. Service in the opposite direction is not affected. Please note the bus stop at Beatson Building Supplies going towards the train station will not be served during the closure.

From Monday 8th December 2025 until Friday 12th December 2025 the A89, Glasgow Road at Bargeddie Roundabout will be closed westbound only to facilitate a new water main installation. Service 222, to Baillieston will operate normal route and continuing on Whifflet Street, diverting on to A8 Glasgow and Edinburgh Road,Langmuir Road, Rosebank Terrace and resuming normal route. Return journey will operate same diversion in reverse. Please note any passengers wishing to travel from Kirkwood or Old Monklands Road will require to use the alternative services 2 and 16. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
