Modernisation at Govan

The next step in SPT’s Subway Modernisation programme is Govan Subway and Bus Station.

Works at Govan represent one of the most significant aspects of Subway Modernisation so far. Extensive works will be happening above ground to the station exterior and adjacent bus interchange, as well as a complete overhaul of the existing station interiors.

In order for SPT to improve and enhance the customer experience, it is essential that this redevelopment is undertaken. We’d like to thank our passengers for their patience during this time.

We’ll be making some temporary changes in order for the works to be carried out and have endeavoured to minimise disruption whilst ensuring that services can continue.

All bus services will be allocated to new temporary stance areas in the immediate vicinity from Sunday 31st May.

Govan Subway

There will be no immediate changes to the Subway or services which will operate as normal. However, it may be necessary to update passengers as works progress. Useful information and updates will be published within these pages and also on @GLAsubwaytravel.
