Travelling safely by Subway to Ibrox Stadium

From Glasgow's city centre the Subway takes 10 to 15 minutes travelling on the Outer Circle, and just a few minutes more in the other direction on the Inner Circle.

Passengers should bear in mind that the Subway will get very crowded prior to kick-off times.

To make sure that you have a safe and comfortable journey, we may ask you to queue on the concourse at the ticket barriers or the booking office to prevent overcrowding on our small trains and platforms. This will mean that your journey will take a little longer than usual.

Our automatic ticket machines and our escalators may also be temporarily switched off, where necessary, as a safety precaution.

If possible, travel early to avoid the rush. Please follow instructions and announcements by our Control staff, drivers and regulating staff. If you have any concerns, please contact a member of staff. The Subway is a no smoking zone and the consumption of alcohol is not allowed.

For your own safety, do not bounce on trains as this can cause damage and may result in delays.

Enjoy the game and we will try our best to get you there as quickly and comfortably as possible.
