SPT has produced a strategic plan to improve bus services across Strathclyde.
In the west of Scotland, two out of three journeys on public transport are made by bus.
SPT has produced a strategic plan - Step Change for Buses - to improve services across Strathclyde. Our bus wardens scheme has been commended for tackling rogue operators.
As part of the Bus Action Plan, SPT is also helping constituent councils to improve management of their internal transport fleet. There are now a number of pilot programmes in selected council areas to identify the potential for greater integration of bus services.
