Information SPT collects and how it is used

We want to provide you with the highest level of service and may collect limited personal information to enable a better experience. We collect information from:

  • Cookies

    A cookie is a small text file sent back and forth between a web browser and the server it accesses. SPT use the Google Analytics service to set cookies that store information about what pages you visit, how long you are on the site, how you got here and what you click on. We do not collect or store personal information (e.g. your name or address) so this information cannot be used to identify who you are.     Description: This cookie tracks via a randomly generated number whether a visitor has been to the site before.
    Expires: 2 years

    __utmb
    Description: This cookie tracks via a randomly generated number when a visitor arrives at the site.
    Expires: 30 minutes

    __utmc
    Description: This cookie tracks via a randomly generated number when a visitor arrives
    Expires: End of session

    __utmz
    Description: This cookie tracks via a randomly generated number and descriptive text how a visitor arrived at the website (i.e. by search or via a link) and where in the world they were.
    Expires: 6 months

    Information on the cookies set by the Google Analytics service. There is also a plugin to opt-out of Google Analytics on all websites.

  • Log files

    Our web server maintains a history of page requests. This includes information about a visitor’s IP address, request date and time, page requested, HTTP code, bytes served, user agent, and referrer. None of this is linked to personally identifiable information.

  • Feedback

    When visitors email SPT we will store their message for our records in order to improve our services.

We do not share information about visitors to third party companies for marketing purposes.
