Screens show focus on safety
Three large security screens have been installed at Buchanan Bus Station in our latest initiative aimed at ensuring passenger safety is the top priority.
The screens show live CCTV footage of activity at key points on the concourse.
Donnie MacLeod, SPT’s Head of Security, said: “These new public screens are the latest addition to a series of measures we’ve got in place to provide reassurance for bus passengers using Buchanan Bus Station.
“The screens have been installed at three sites within the main concourse area to show passengers what’s happening round about them when they’re waiting for a bus.
“This is very much a preventative measure to deter any form of anti-social behaviour or petty crime at Buchanan Bus Station and all part of our layered approach to public safety and security.”
