All change at Hamilton bus station

Passengers using Hamilton bus station are advised to expect changes to the departure points for some services from Sunday 2 July.

The planned changes are designed to make the bus station easier and safer to use for passengers as they will make best use of the operational space by grouping bus departures according to the area they cover. The changes have also been planned to coincide with timetable changes being made by some bus operators.

Each week an average of 10,000 passengers use bus services and during the year, almost 300,000 bus services depart from Hamilton’s 16 stances. To ensure passengers are aware of the planned changes, posters and leaflets have been circulated both at the bus station and on board buses.

The message to passengers is allow a little more time to get used to the new arrangements and if you require help with a specific travel query, staff at the SPT Travel Centre in Brandon Street will be happy to assist.
