Agreement reached to end Subway pay and conditions dispute

Today (Friday 7 October) Strathclyde Passenger Transport and representatives of the Transport & General Workers Union concluded an agreement to end the long running dispute over pay and conditions on Glasgow's Subway.

It is intended that the agreement will be formally signed next week and arrangements are being made to process the first stage of the payment as soon as possible after that.
