Inner Circle service resumes

December 1, 2008

The Inner Circle service on the Glasgow Subway has resumed after an electrical fault led to an early morning suspension.

An electrical cable problem caused a train halt near Cessnock Subway station at 06:35 on Monday.

Engineers were called in to resolve the issue and Subway Control said the service resumed at 08:15.

Passengers had been advised to use the Outer Circle, which was running a peak time - four minute - service.
