MyBus Rural (formerly Ring'n'Ride)
MyBus Rural is available to people who live in rural areas and have no other public transport links. The service provides direct links between specific rural areas, and also from rural areas to town centres, leisure facilities, train stations and hospitals.

What is MyBus Rural?MyBus Rural is an on-demand bus service that picks you up from as near to your door as possible and takes you where you want to go, when you want to go.
It is designed to serve people and communities in areas of rural Strathclyde who do not currently have a local bus service or have poor public transport links to amenities.
The service provides direct links between specific rural areas, and also from these rural areas to town centres, leisure facilities, train stations and hospitals.
It does not make trips where there are alternative direct bus services.
Where does MyBus Rural operate?There are currently nine MyBus Rural services operating.

Who can use MyBus Rural?MyBus Rural is for everyone who wants to travel within the areas shown on individual timetable maps.
Passengers who are registered MyBus or Dial-a-Bus users can also use the MyBus Rural Service.
Like conventional bus services, MyBus Rural is for individual passengers, but group bookings are also warmly welcomed.
All members of the community are able to use the service, as it is operated using a low floor, wheelchair-accessible bus.

Journey timesEvery effort will be made to offer you your requested times. Often however, if a number of passengers are going to the same destination we will offer you these times.
We may require to change your booking times but will advise you if these changes exceed 10 minutes.
Other passengers are often picked up en route to your destination. Please allow time for this when booking your journey.
Please try to be flexible with your journey times.
How do I use it?Booking is easy. All it takes is a simple call to the booking line. Journeys can even be booked by text message!
Bookings can be made up to two hours before travelling, but we recommend you book the day before.

SPT concession cards, Scottish Citizens National Entitlement Cards, ZoneCards and Daytripper tickets are valid on MyBus Rural services.
