Ring'n'Ride
What is Service 600 East Dunbartonshire Ring'n'Ride?
Ring'n'Ride is an innovative on-demand bus service that picks you up from as near to your door as possible and takes you where you want to go, when you want to go.
It does not make trips where there are alternative direct bus services.
It is designed to serve people and communities in rural East Dunbartonshire who do not currently have a local bus service or have poor public transport links to amenities.
The service provides direct links between any of the rural areas shown on the map (download timetable to see map), and also from these rural areas to the highlighted town centres, leisure centres, train stations, Stobhill Hospital and Mugdock Country Park.
The bus operates Monday-Saturday between the hours of 0700 and 2330, and Sunday between 0900 and 2330 hours.
Who can use it?
Ring'n'Ride is for everyone who wants to travel within the marked area on the map (download timetable to see map).
Passengers who are registered Dial-a-Bus users can also use the Ring'n'Ride Service.
Like conventional bus services, Ring'n'Ride is for individual passengers, but group bookings are also warmly welcomed.
All members of the community are able to use the service, as it is operated using a low floor, wheelchair accessible bus.
