Rules and regulationsThe bus station has been designed with a one way system. The "saw tooth" stance design allows drivers to enter and exit stances without the need to reverse.
Bus bay markings with stance numbers are painted on to the bus apron to guide drivers to the relevant pick up and drop off points. For reasons of health and safety passengers should only be picked up and dropped off at the designated points.
There are two formal crossing points to allow passengers to cross safely to the island stances. These crossing points are highlighted by hazard warning lights. Please approach these areas with caution and give way to pedestrians at all times.
Drivers must conform to the "slow speed" requirement when using the bus station.
SPT will regulate the bus station and drivers are reminded that they should follow any instructions given by an authorised SPT member of staff.
