- The station is open 24 hours and is staffed between 08:00 and 18:00.
- Smoking is only permitted outside the bus station. SPT has banned all smoking (including e-cigarettes) from its buildings and premises. Please dispose of butts appropriately and avoid smoking at exits.
- For your safety and security CCTV monitoring and recording is in operation.
- The Travel Centre is open between 08:00 and 18:00 Monday to Saturday.

The Travel Centre is open 08:30 to 18:00 Monday to Saturday. It is wheelchair accessible, has dropped counters and induction loops for disabled travellers.
Hamilton Bus Station has a passenger tour lounge. The lounge is open on the days we have scheduled tour departures.
There is an automatically controlled disabled toilet next to Stance 1. This toilet can be accessed for free by someone using their RADAR key otherwise there is a 30p charge. The toilet is accessible 24hrs per day.
There are a further two toilets adjacent to the disabled toilet. These are also fully automated and are open from 08:30 to 18:00. A charge of 30p applies for the use of these toilets. There is also a baby change facilitiy next to the toilets.
There are no facilities for left luggage.
If you have lost something in the bus station, please phone 0141 333 3708 (09:00 to 17:00 Monday to Saturday). For property lost on a bus or coach, please contact the relevant operator. All items lost/found (with the exclusion of perishable items) are sent to Police Scotland.

Bike racks are available adjacent to the Travel Centre on a first-come first-served basis. SPT does not assume responsibility for stolen or damaged bikes.
There is plenty of car parking adjacent to the bus station at Orchard Street.
There is a 24 hour taxi rank located in Station Road between the bus station and Hamilton Central railway station.
All areas of the bus station and Travel Centre are accessible by wheelchair.
In addition, wayfinding slabs help to guide visually impaired travellers around the bus station and to individual stances.
Stances 1 to 14 are equipped with talking signs that give information on the next departure along with details of which stance you are at.
Within the Travel Centre there is also an induction loop sound system which produces a signal for partially deaf customers who use a hearing aid.
