Half price rail travel to Prestwick Airport
What is the Prestwick ticket scheme?
Airline passengers using Glasgow Prestwick International airport travelling by rail to and from any First ScotRail or SPT Subway station can save money by taking advantage of the half-price rail travel scheme.
This offer saves you 50% on the standard rail fare.
The airport is served by its own railway station, which is just 80 metres from the check-in desks and is connected to the airport by an enclosed skywalk.
How does it work?
All passengers traveling to and from the airport will receive 50% discount on the standard fare. To qualify for the discount passengers have to show their official flight confirmation and photo id when buying their ticket. Visit the Glasgow Prestwick International Airport website for more details (opens a new window).
Important note
If you join the train at a station with ticket issuing facilities, you must buy your rail tickets before joining the train as discounted tickets will not be available on the train.
If you are boarding at a station with no ticket issuing facilities or when the ticket office is closed, you should present your documents to the conductor when purchasing your tickets to receive a discount.
