As part of our MyChristmasMySubway marketing campaign to promote our later Christmas opening hours, on Friday 15th December, our Marketing team worked with Capital Radio to offer our Subway passengers the chance to win £500 worth of shopping vouchers. Capital Radio’s Garry Spence ran the competition which encouraged listeners to tune in between 4-7pm to find out a code word, which would be used to win the competition. After hearing the code word, all they had to do was go out into the city centre of Glasgow, find Garry’s fellow DJ, Steven, who would be around about St. Enoch’s station and say the code word to win – to be a valid winner they must have also had either a Subway Smartcard or paper ticket. Our lucky winner on the night was Jennifer O’Rourke who was over the moon to have won, just in time for Christmas! As well as the £500 shopping vouchers, Jennifer and her son, Liam, also received two Subway goodie bags.
