Wee Write! Glasgow’s book festival for children and young people

Scotland’s only literary festival dedicated to children and families, Wee Write!, turns two in March of this year and to celebrate, we’ve lined up some special offers in conjunction with the Subway Smartcard.

Smart customers can save £1.50 on the following events, part of the Wee Write! Family Day at the Mitchell Library on Saturday 7 March:

‘Mad Hatter’s Tea Party’ 50 tickets available
We celebrate 150 years of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland with an anarchic hour of games, stories and hands-on art fun. Why not come in fancy dress?!
3.30 – 4.30pm, for ages 5+

‘The Dinosaur Who Pooped a…’ Show 50 tickets available
A raucous show celebrating the popular Dinosaur who Pooped series, featuring an appearance from the Dinosaur himself, gross games, dinosaur impressions and video clips from the books creators and McBusted stars Tom Fletcher and Dougie Poynter.
10am – 11am, for ages 5+

‘What Makes You, You’ 50 tickets
Biology teacher turned author Gill Arbuthnot presents her brilliantly entertaining introduction to science for kids, which will be just as entertaining for accompanying adults. A really fun way to get young minds interested in science!
