Glasgow Summer Sessions

Musician playing guitar to crowd

Glasgow’s amazing summer of live events continues this week with the Glasgow Summer Sessions.

Following uber DJ David Guetta’s appearance at the Bellahouston Park festival on Saturday, Tuesday 19 August sees the turn of US superstars The Killers, supported on the bill by Miles Kane and the Courteeners.

Known for their songs Mr Brightside and Human, the Killers have, over the past decade, become one of the biggest bands in the world with over 20 million albums sold – including four UK number ones.

They also have a cupboard full of MTV and NME awards, and are known for their excellent, high tempo live performances. Which means tonight’s concert should be a cracker.

The gig is looking like a sell out too. So if you are going along you might want to consider how you get there and plan ahead. With Ibrox Subway station only a fifteen minute walk away, a Shoogle may well be the ideal way to get your evening rocking.

For more information go to the Glasgow Summer Sessions website or the Gigs in Scotland website. Subway opening times are available on our Timetables page.
