Subway Travel Twitter

There’s no need to be in the dark over your travel plans ever again – a brand new Twitter account just for Subway info and travel updates is about to launch.

#Woohoo, yes we’re excited too!

Twitter handle @GLASubwayTravel gets into action on Monday, June 23, when we’ll start tweeting you with all the Subway travel news and updates as they happen.

We want to make sure you know about delays, shuttle services or any kind of problem as soon as possible. We’ll also let you know when everything is running as smoothly as a well-oiled thing too.

It’s not long before the Commonwealth Games comes to town. With thousands of athletes and officials, not to mention the one million visitors expected to descend on Glasgow, it’s going to get very busy indeed.

The @GLASubwayTravel Twitter feed is just one of the ways we have come up with to make sure you stay in the know.

Don’t panic though. Funding from G2014 will help us run more trains, and more services to make sure we can cope with the crowds and enjoy the Games (here’s hoping we get a little bit of glorious weather too).

So please follow us @GLASubwayTravel to get the latest Subway travel info. If it’s happening, we will be tweeting it. Then you can re-tweet it to everyone you know – because it might help them plan their journey through the city too.
