Have fun and be safe on Bonfire Night

Big fireworks with silhouetted people in the foreground watching

As millions of people celebrate Bonfire Night this evening they are being urged to stay safe and attend official displays hosted by their local councils around the SPT area.

Glasgow Life’s spectacular firework display takes place tonight (Tuesday 5th November) at Glasgow Green and SPT is running more Subway trains to ensure families and revellers can get to the heart of the action, minus the hassle.

A more frequent evening peak service will be in operation, with trains every five minutes until approximately 9pm, meaning it’s even easier to leave the car at home, or park and ride.

The free event kicks off from 4pm and includes a funfair, catering and pre-show entertainment from Radio Clyde DJs Romeo and Knoxy.
