Stay safe this Bonfire night

As Bonfire Night approaches, members of the public are being urged to stay safe and attend official displays being hosted by member councils throughout the Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT) area.

The following events are being held:

North Lanarkshire Council will host events at the following venues:

On Sunday evening at the Airdrie Leisure Centre, Dunbeth Park in Coatbridge and the Broadwood Stadium away car park in Cumbernauld will all have on special events.

The area’s Bonfire Night celebrations will conclude at Strathclyde Country Park Motherwell on Monday 5 November in an event which has been organised jointly with South Lanarkshire Council

Glasgow City Council will be hosting free entry events at Glasgow Green and Drumchapel Park on the evening of Monday 5 November.

On Saturday 3 November, Renfrewshire Council will have a Halloween themed Fireworks Spectacular in Paisley town centre.

The Battery Park display in Gourock, one of the highlights of the Inverclyde Council calendar and will be held on Saturday 3 November.

West Dunbartonshire Council will hold two separate events, one at Levengrove Park on Monday 5 Novemebr and one at Dalmuir Park in Clydebank on Tuesday 6 November.

East Ayrshire Council will hold their event at Kay Park in Kilmarnock on Monday 5 November and Ayr Racecourse will be the site for South Ayrshire’s display on Wednesday 7 November.
