Strathclyde Partnership for Transport is offering cut-price fares for visitors to Glasgow University’s Open Day on 5th September.
Around 10,000 extra visitors are expected at the event, which will give visitors the chance to meet academic staff, talk to students, discover more about university life and take a look around the campus.
With Hillhead Station only a short walk away, taking the Subway is an easy way to visit the university without the need to worry about unfamiliar roads or parking.
SPT Assistant Chief Executive (Operations) Eric Stewart said: “The university Open Day is a great idea for prospective students and curious visitors alike, and we’re delighted to be able to help as many people as possible make the trip.
“The Subway is a quick and easy way for prospective students and visitors to get to the university. As well as offering a hassle-free way of getting around, it’s an iconic piece of Glasgow’s history, allowing prospective students to get a taste of the city they may choose to study in.”
In order to claim this offer, download the voucher from the University of Glasgow’s Open Day page and present it at the ticket desk on the Open Day.
