Construction has started on a £2.2million SPT-supported transport hub for commuters in the south east of Glasgow. Improvements will also be made to existing bus facilities and services on the Aikenhead Road bus corridor, including four new bus stances and a bus shelter that will show real time passenger information.

SPT’s Travel Plan Seminar 2012 has been hailed a huge success. Approximately 100 delegates, speakers and guests attended the event at the Teacher Building, St Enoch Square, in Glasgow on Thursday 16 February.

SPT has invested £130,000 in new tactile tiles for each of its 15 Glasgow Subway stations to help improve passenger safety.
