Theatre-goers in Glasgow can benefit from a welcome money-saving deal this Christmas thanks to Subway operator Strathclyde Partnership for Transport and the King’s Theatre.
We’ve joined together to offer a £3 discount on all tickets (prices start from £15.95) when a valid Subway ticket is shown at the King’s Box Office.
This year’s King’s Theatre show is family favourite Sleeping Beauty. Cast members Karen Dunbar (as Nanny) and Gregory’s Girl star Clare Grogan (wicked fairy Carabosse) paid a surprise visit to the Subway this week.
We hope we’re spreading a little Christmas cheer and helping the pounds go a little further this festive season
Jonathan Findlay, SPT Chairman
SPT Chairman Jonathan Findlay said: “Everyone loves the Christmas Pantomime, but it’s also a time of year that can stretch the family budget. By offering discounts for our Subway customers at the Kings Theatre, we hope we’re spreading a little Christmas cheer and helping the pounds go a little further this festive season.”
A King’s spokesperson added: “We are delighted to be working with SPT to highlight just how economical it is to make a journey to the King’s Theatre this Christmas. The King’s panto is the most traditional family show of them all and we want to make sure that every family in Glasgow and beyond has the opportunity to experience its magic this festive season.”
